Join Roddy Hart as he presents The Quay Sessions live from BBC Scotland’s HQ at Pacific Quay in Glasgow.
Tonight Roddy will exclusively reveal the shortlist of 10 albums in the running for this year’s Scottish Album Of The Year Award.
Performing on the night will be winners of last year’s SAY Award - Sacred Paws - and Scots art-punk quintet The Skids.
Formed in Dunfermline in 1977, The Skids are famous for their hits Into The Valley, Working For The Yankee Dollar and Masquerade. Led by original member Richard Jobson, they returned to the live arena for their 40th anniversary tour last year and have released a new album Burning Cities for 2018.
Sacred Paws are duo Rachel Aggs and Eilidh Rodgers. Their debut album, Strike A Match, was released on Mogwai’s Rock Action Records and won them the prestigious SAY Award last year. The band will be playing songs from the winning album as well as exclusively previewing new material.
Come and join Roddy for a night celebrating Scotland’s music!
